Thanks, I had seen that site before. Interesting reading; I just read the first three reports '2 boat collision' - guess how many offshores were involved? Zero. PWCs? Every time.

Hmmmm....

THE OWNER SAID THE ENGINE WAS BOGGING DOWN AND CUTTING OUT. THE OPERATOR (WHO IS A MECHANIC) TOOK THE BOAT OUT TO CHECK IT OUT. THE ENGINE HATCH WAS OPEN AND A FIRE BALL IGNITED UNDER THE ENGINE. THEY SHUT THE COVER AND TURNED THE ENGINE OFF. THEY PUT ON A PFD AND JUMPED OVERBOARD AND WERE PICKED UP BY A PASSING BOATER. THE BOAT BURNED TO THE WATERLINE

GARCIA WAS OPERATING A 25 FOOT OUTLAW WHEN IT STRUCK A LARGE WAVE AND TUMBLED END OVER END IN THE WATER. ONE SUJECT WAS EJECTED INTO THE WATER AND BOTH SUBJECTS WERE RESCUED BY PASSERBYS. THE OPERATOR WAS CITED FOR C&I OPERATION

Just read through the first 2 or 3 pages - out of all of the "2 boat collision" reports, exactly 1 involved two boats. Every other report had at least one PWC involved.

Now, what's the problem at LOTO (and everywhere else, for that matter?)

Why does the phrase "Hold mah beer an' watch this!" come to mind?

Incident Occurred 3/4 mile upstream from the conservation access. Victim was swinging off a rope swing that was attached to a mud bank. Victim swung out and did not release from the rope soon enough and collided with the mud bank. Victim was transported to MU Hospital via flight for life.

I wonder if the people complaining about offshore boats or the media have read this site, it's a great argument in our favor.

How big do the waves get on loto? A 25' outlaw flipping end over end?

ofshore,

Don't confuse the media with the facts - they've already made up their mind!
