im curious what kind of financing a guy could get on your boat.
term , % , payment amount?
insurance?
might help to post that kind of info too.

I would guess about 5.75-6% on 10 years

i know it cuts into my time too!

i have no idea about terms and that stuff...have not had a boat loan in some time for one reason or another.

65??...if i HAD to take 65 then i would have to sell the race boat long befor that and keep the AT. but THANKS a ton for the offer!

Joey, here is the way I look at it, for $125K (probably less) I can have the 2002 37 AVH with 496 HO's with 120 hours...the delema is is are 2 years, 5 feet and cloosed cooling worth $24K? You can argue engines, but any modified engine is worth less unless an engine builder I know and trust did the work, or I have to budget for the worst, that I will have to have someone go through them, but that is just how I think.

As a buyer, that is the delima that I look at when looking at used boats.

One additional (small) comment - graphics. Joe's boat is fairly well-known and is directly tied to him; everyone knows him as "Audacity Joe", the race team is "Audacity Racing", etc. Maybe it's just me, but if I was thinking about buying that boat, I'd have to factor in the cost of painting over the graphics and/or getting them modified.

This kind of goes back to Too Old's point - it's a buyers market, and unless someone just *has* to have your particular boat, they can afford to shop around. Seems like a lot of guys have boats that have been for sale for a while; hopefully things will turn up soon.
