Seneca lake ROPA Run This weekend!
If any Oso members boat in the finger lakes region I just thought I would send out a little reminder that the Rochester offshore Powerboat Assoc. is haveing its annual "Battleship Run" on Seneca Lake this weekend. The head quarters are at the Showboat Hotel and Restaurant located on the West side of the lake approx. 18 -19 miles from Watkins Glen. Last year was a great run. I believe almost 100 boats attended including a handful of 100+ boats. If memory serves me correctly I think the fastest speed of the day was close to 140mph. So if your just drifting around cruise your hot rod over to the Showboat to check out the action. :D
P.S. the run starts at 9:30am on Saturday! The barley pops begin AFTER the run (5:00) at the Showboat.
