Key West, trailer to Garrison Bright / Use Town Dockage. Then stay overnight at holiday inn, bayside, plenty of trailer parking. Hawks cay is great but high $$ and the water in the pool is about 90, they have a ramp and trailer parking. I was just there.

Stay at the Westin in Key Largo

No other place will do. It has a great dock and if you call just before you arrive, they will meet you there to take your luggage. It is between Gilberts and the Tiki bar on Holiday Isle (Islamorada). Great central location. You can hit Gilberts on your way down, check in and then head to the Tiki bar for the afternoon. The next morning, it's a nice ride to "The Great Sportsman" (Zane Gray's) for some lunch and a ride back to the Tiki Bar for some afternoon drinks

Sorry, I got carried away and started planning our next trip to the Keys

We have been to the Marriott, Nice place but the dockage can be shallow and they will not guarantee you space, the Westin will. Thirrrsty, a 45 Sonic with trippple 750 KE's sucked up some crap and had a serious repair bill. You will not have that at the Westin.

Plus the rooms at the Westin are to die for. They are basically two room suites with down comforters and pillows on King size beds that swallow you up in comfort. Lots of comfortable "Romp Room".

It ain't cheap (no more expensive than the Marriott) but it will be a time you will never forget.

We are going back this fall for a couple of days. There may be some other Active Thunder folks there as well, but we are going back for sure.

Forgot to ask where you would be launching. We left the Pampano area through the Hillsboro inlet. You could launch off of Key Biscayne and have a great ride through Biscayne Bay down to Key Largo.
