Any Long Island guys...
 

Any L.I. guys ever go to zachs bay(Jones Beach Ampitheater) to listen to a concert from the water? Lollapalooza is there next wednesday and I was thinking of taking the day off to go hang out in the bay and see whats up...anyone else going to be around?

I like to drink Long Islands............................does that make me a Long Island guy?

if i could get my boat running in time I'd go. But i dont; think taht is goign to happen.


I know you can;'t get to close by water anymore.

It's tough, you can't get close enough anymore. They blocked off access to the beach. Also, the theater faces away from the water. Still fun.

You can't get real close. It depends on the wind direction whether you will hear well or not.

I was there this past weekend and it looked a little to far...I guess that idea is out the window...if anyone is heading out there on any upcoming weekends let me know...and thanx for the info guys.

It is both days,saturday afternoon ,evening and sunday,main gathering spot is the boatbasin just past the fire island bridge on the southside of the inlet,check the superfest link on the superboat forum,my boat is all white with alot of black stuff on the back!!! bring more boats tripps

what exactly is superfest

I started it out as a casual gathering of hot boats on the southshore of LI,there's alot of superboats around here,so,it was a fitting name for the event. we had about 30 boats show up last time,but the # is lower this year,and all boats are welcome! The point is HOT BOATS,there's plenty around here,so lets have some fun!!! tripps

Is Superfest an all day event? Beach it or on the hook?

Its what ever comes our way,but can be both days,we can go to the beach at democrat,ty up at kismet,flyns,I don't know how manny are comin ,but i'm goin to have some fun!!! tripps
