Just dump the 6.0 and get the 7.3. I have 16,000 on my X and have had no problems. Oh, I almost forgot, 16,500 in a 3/4 ton Suburban is a ticking timebomb.

No, it's 4 wheel drive. I was just thinking, maybe my odometer is different because I went up one tire size. There is a picture in the tow rig section if anyone cares.

I have two friends with the new ones, and if you have as good a luck with them as they have, you will be glad you did not back out.

I am simply blown away by the power. One of them drives the HELL out of his. He bought it from a dealer that did a complete 4 inch lift oversize tires and wheels and installed a chip and this thing is unbelievable!

We had an impellar let go a couple weeks ago out there. Plus Doug, at ALCO Marine, has been dialing in some props for us. I have been impressed with their service so far.

It's sad when the boat is more reliable than the tow vehicle. The Cig has been rock solid so far.

I've sold about 8 - 6.0's to my customers in the last 2 months. All have had bad idle quality problems related to ICP sensors. I don't beleive there is a true fix yet . I know when I picked up mine they had 16 program upgrades for the sensor and NON realy fixed it .....

One guys truck blows a huge cloud of smoke when started and runs REAL rough for a minute or two, then is OK.
Our's has a terrible idle and very little power off idle . WHen you get it wound up it is OK but no better then the 7.3's were power wise.

When they are right , they DO RUN !!

I've upgraded several now and even stock they are awesome !! CHip it and you better have your diaper on !

Best of luck to all of us ........
