Hey folks
Does any one know if eastport marina in east peoria illinois has a web site, besides the tourism one.

A bunch of us are heading up the river for a bachelor party and staying at the marina on our boats. (some of us)

The public ramps by Eastport Marina are a good place to put in. I don't think the water is down too far, so you should be in good shape. No problems in the channel. Outside the channel watch your depth gage and stay away from shore. It's no-wake between the bridges downtown. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Running the river North is a good time. About five miles from the marina you'll find a sand bar at the channel - usually hopping.

Remember the twig on top of the water may have a log on the other end! :D

is eastport where famous daves is ?

aren't there 2 ramps there ... which one do you use ? fees? pay where ?

Yes, Famous Daves is there. There are public ramps to the right just before the entrance to the marina. Not as steep. Small Fee - pay the guy or use the envelope.

The ramp at the marina has a sharp drop - a trailer scraper.

There are public docks at the Peoria downtown riverfront. Restaurants are Joes Crab Shack, Old Chicago and numerous others. Have Fun! I'll be in Florida. :)
