Cape May, New Jersey...

How is it up there? Neda just booked us with another other couple for a Bread and Breakfast getaway. Is it a nice area? Any OSOers that boat in that area?

Yes Cape May is very nice. Very quaint is probably a good way to say it. Nice beach, and only 4 miles south of Wildwood in case you want to find a louder crowd or rides on the boardwalk. Plus A/C is only 35 miles north if you want to see a show or gamble.

Not sure if the concrete ship is still visible or not. The made few dosen ships in WWII out of concrete because of a shortage of steel. This one broke up right near the shore. Ask a local when you get there.

Another real nice area is Ocean City MD. It's like Wildwood only more modern.

Enjoy your stay in New Joisey...they don't talk like that in Cape May.

You'll love it...

Sydwayz,

When are you going and are you taking the ferry? We were thinking about visiting Wildewood (pops owns some motels there) pretty soon. We like it up there.

Ron P,

Did you mean OC, Md or OC, NJ. We know what OC, Md is like, expensive and overrated, but still fun.

It's a cool place I go there once in a while Ilive about hour and half away from there. Cape May is also home of the Coast Guard training center.

Maybe we can have an OSO mini gathering in Wildwood one night? HMMMM now that is an Idea!
