Go with the boat, I had a sprint car and raced in Central PA several years ago. Way Way Way more money than the boat, 410 all aluminum 750 HP $40 grand each (freshened every 5 races) Worked every night on it after my real job till 3 in the morning. But racing is a blast !!!

Get all that money in $20 Dollar bills and make a nice fire, you will get some heat out of that nice pile and be warm for a little while. I don't think drag cars or race boat can give you that much!

i dunno man 2 weeks ago when i was running 130 in the pooring rain in an open wheel car it felt pretty looney. Felt a hell of a lot less safe than running 90 in a boat in big water. Perhaps it was the large concrete walls at the edges of the track that made me feel that way.

taht being said i still geta kick out of fast boats. But as for racing. I'd say a car is better. Racing boats deosn;t really leave you with too many options. APBA, SBI or OPA. acing carsthere are 1000 differnmt clubs and 100 differnt type of cars yu can runa dn teh bestthign of all there are almost always a ton of competittors in each class.
