did you get the minx??? great boat, a buddy of mine, fobes on the board, had one. we certainly put that boat through hell in five seasons in the ocean out of boston. i know its obvious but no comparison to the checkmate i had at the time. speed yeah but forget about the handling in the ocean. let me know how you like it.

just a standard 5.7 260 hp mercruiser. boat was a two speed, idle and WOT. many a good time and many a scary time in that boat but i totally believe if it wasn't a donzi we wouldn't have made on many occasions. a lot of the guys we would meet with bigger boats, sutphens, skaters, cigs and even a tempest couldn't believe that we could keep up with them in the rough. thinking back we probably shouldn't have. ithink that hull can handle big power you'll just need to swap out for some k planes. let me know what you put in it. bill
