I was bummed to have to go work on my fiberglass POS after seeing these SWEET boats. I did get the OK for us to get one from the war dept. She loves them and said that I just have to finish the Formula first. SO maybe in like 15 years

Steve Stepp didn't come up with steps......I believe the first present day guru to use steps proficiently I might add was (no not Reggie) Paul Fiore when he ran Hustler....He was also the first V-bottom to break the century mark in Powerboat Magazines boat tests....I will take all bets on this one so step right up no pun intended......

My father in law use to build wooden boats with steps in the late 50's.
He says they use to put steps with aeration tubes to bring air in the steps (these aeronautical engineers!!!) he says when they put their hand on the air intakes the boat would bogg down, he could'nt believe how much air got sucked thru those air intakes that brought air to the middle of the step under the running surface.
I think I saw intakes like that on the Dragon site or somewhere.
