Two different animals. The 74 is an X-18 with a modified sbc. The fun factor of an 18 is unmatched by any of the other boats I have owned / driven (Hydrostreams, Checkmates, etc etc). There is just nothing like cruising @ 50mph in an 18' boat, 2' chop, and loving life. I have always loved the 18's handling, it's basically a go-cart on the water. The 92 is a stock 22 with a 454. Great cruiser, rides better than the 18, but just not as much "in your face" fun as the 18. Now, once I have a couple hundred more hp under the deck, that may change I'll be finding out as soon as the funds allow..
Cuda, yours is a Genth era boat. OMC came in in 88.. I am figuring it wont be running for the Owners meet, so I want a ride in the roostertail boat please!!
