Shore Dreams for Kids - THANK YOU's!
On behalf of the event's organizers, we appreciated everything everyone did to make the event a success. Everyone had a great time, and the event was a huge success for those who were able to attend. Unfortunately, three buses never arrived due to tremendous summer traffic for those coming from far away. That's why we ended up with more boats than kids. This was our first time organizing the event. We learned some lessons and took a lot of notes to build upon the event for next year.
The event received great coverage from the media. It was featured on T.V. Channel 12 news that night. The Asbury Park Press, Star Ledger, and Ocean County Observer newpapers also covered the event. A few special thank you's: * NJPPC's Shore Dreams Dream Team (Rob Cline, Pete Mazzo and Brian Meade) * All of the volunteers (land & water) that traveled from near and far (far being Long Island and PA) * To the following donors who made the event possible for donating goods and money: Person's Name Company Name Ric Monteiro Simoes & Monteiro Chuck Sprague & Dianne Conrad Jim & Carrie Courtney Mark Jameson Ray & Linda Schmalzigan Ray's Service Center Rick & Janet Engstrom Anthony Sauta Bradley Car Care Anthony Sauta East Coast Auto Body Anthony Sauta Allenhurst Car Care Anthony Sauta ATS Management LLC Dave & Judy Redding J.B.
