WOW what a beautiful day. Where was everyone??
The only one I saw was Whitey - tied up to me for a while. It was good seeing you again Dwight and Laura.

I saw Fred and Whitey on their way in from Lake Michigan while we were heading out in the Muskegon channel. I had my friend Bill from Michigan City with me and we headed down to Grand Haven's Coast Guard Fest-----what a hot bed of drunks and carelessness---whew!!! In the few minutes we were in the Grand Haven jetty we saw several close calls with jet skis and other boaters! My boat was running well.

Went to the ASA races at Berlin instead. Thanks for the offers I got from some of you. I had fun....loud fast cars are cool. Not as cool a loud fast boats, but close!

It was a great day Saturday, I was able to meet Whitey and his wife and talk with them a bit in the Muskegon channel, saw Kaama, also Tinkerboaters boat at the launch ramp in Grand Haven, and I think I saw Waterfoul driving a dark blue Scarab?....was that you Mike?...Grand Haven was packed as Kaama said, we went up into Spring Lake and swam then got out of the Grand Haven area....stayed dry all weekend until later Sunday on the way home....it rained all the way.....Fred

Fred, did you go to hanky panky cove? We were told by some other boater that had been there earlier that hanky panky was packed and the marine patrols were pretty heavy and very busy around there. We never got close---the river was bad enough. Liked your boat---looks real good!
