Saw the clip on the news last night from Washington NC a.k.a. "Reggie-ville" The first pass was 201 +.. WOW! We all knew that it would not be long before Johnny and David eclipsed the 200 barrier.
Congrats to the entire Baccardi Silver Team!!! |

Now that is some crazy s%it! Congrats Dave and John. Best wishes and be safe!
He has a 40' and a 36'. Usually the 36' is for kilo runs
Shakedown, actually Dave has a 36 and a 46, not 40.
great news wish we good have saw it a SOTW this year. DAM FOG lol
David ran the 46' today in the superboat unlimited. only one in the class but he laped the field and slowed up. Fastest thing I ever seen . I think Shockwave beat the Switch in the supervee.
Firewater won Super V.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Actually, the official one way average kilo record speed John and I ran was 202.907 mph and was set during our first pass in the 36' Bacardi Silver boat. Had to run in some crosswind which slowed us a little going both directions but hurt us more on the return run. That is why the two way average record speed is 198.5. My 36 is always used for the kilos. The 46 is primarily used for offshore racing . BTW Cap071, there is already a Bacardi Silver 03 boat. It is my new 40' race/pleasure Skater.

Hey kilo,
could you post or direct us to pictures of your arsenal of speed busters. I cant keep up. I see a red/orange boat running at LOTO almost every week that looks like on on your webpage but am not sure if it is one you take to the races. |
Sure, they are on www.nautiboats.com.
are the boats on the front page your 46 and 36?
No, those are the 36 and 40. If you click on the top left of your screen (photo gallery) you will see the 46 pictured in the Key West photos.
Congats Dave and J.T.!!!
Kilo, I was down at LOTO in Dec. when you and J.T. were going for the 200mph mark, but well you know what happened :( Damn weather and permits. Really glad to here you guys finally got it!!!!!!!!! Job well done :D Will the bacardi 03 also run, or Auggie's 46'? Looking forward to seeing you run at the Shoot-Out |
Thanks OB21. Do you mean the ShootOut or future Kilos? Either way, the answer is NO to the 40 & 46 running kilos for now but wouldn't rule out any of the boats for the ShootOut.
Will Bacardi Silver be racing the 46 in PX at Milwaukee this weekend?
No plans for the 46 in Mikwaukee. However, the Bacardi Silver SuperCat entry will be there with John and Hugh. Our schedule for the 36 & 46 boats was set at the beginning of the year and is posted on our webpage.
The 40 is my favorite Skater I have seen in person. Size, paint, interior, engines, it is TOUGH. I love Sorcerer, but the Nauti low profile 40 is way too sweet.
Hope everything is goin great Kilo! :D |
Dave great job! Hope all is well. Tom
Thanks Tom! How have you been? Look forward to visiting with you in Tampa.
Congrats Guys!
congrats to Dave and crew.
i haven't looked at his website yet, but wanted to say that i met Dave on the docks at Toads Cove the weekend of the Hot boat Poker run, and saw his race/pleasure boat there. saw it again this last weekend at the salty dog . That boat is without a doubt the most impressive boat i have ever seen, the boat is awesome to see in person, not sure if a picture can do it justice. Don |
Congrats guys!!
