Herring Props

Since the gear change from 1:50 to 1:25 the boat is usable. But the 16.5x35 4 blades are still way too small. Boat ran to 6000 rpms to get to 150mph with only 7lbs of boost. I feel I need to get a set of the Herring props about 16.5X37 either 4 or 5 blade (I'd like to get both).I'm in search of a cost effective way (ie used and not from Herring) to pick up a set. I know this board always has connections, so help me out. Thanks Otto

Hey Otto, not sure 150mph, cost effective and Herring can be used in the same paragraph ;)

Be careful bro, those kiddies need ya! :)

Otto,
I have some on order with Herring. I have not found any to try yet. I just went ahead and ordered them. With the amount of power you have you might get away with 35 to 36 pitch herring forged props. They do not flex like cast ones do. They are worth the money. I can check over seas if you want that type.

Pat, Thanks. I would love the help in locating a cheaper alternative. Otto
