Cigarette Bullets?
are the engine comapartments very roomy in a bullet with big blocks? Is there adequate room to work on things? anybody have any pics?

The front has alot of room ,If you dont have TRS and the top has alot of room. Sides and back Very little.

FWIW, there's a Cig Bullet for sale up by me in SE Michigan. I took a brief look at it and it seemed pretty clean. Bravos, hydraulic steering, notched hull. I think I can get the number if anyone is interested...

I am not sure I was wondering the same thing about a week ago. I would like to put A/C in mine. I can take a pic tonight and post is tomorrow for you.

Bullet has easy access to the engines becase the back of the rear seats raise when you open the hatch .

I saw it on my way home from work one day. Checked all the usual spots online, but didn't find it. I'll take the digital tomorrow and see if it's still there (not my usual route into the office, so I haven't checked in a week or so). |

I think I saw it in the Detroit Free Press/ News in Sunday's classifieds. I believe price was 60k. Very possible that it is the same boat. Might be the same boat (I can't believe there are *that* many Cig Bullets running around SE Michigan) - the area code is right for this part of town. OTOH, the boat I saw definately had a notched transom, and I thought that Cig didnt' start that until 90 or 91. Then again, I'm no Cig expert!
I drove by the place it was at but it's not there now. Couldn't find it online anywhere. Looks to be a newer boat, with Bravo drives, hydraulic steering, notched transom. White hull with black stripes (similar to Too Old's Mistress) sitting on a white Myco dual axle trailer. I checked it out, and it seems pretty clean (exterior only). Didn't get a look at the cockpit or cabin, so I don't know what's up with the interior. For Sale sign had 65K obo, phone 810-533-3963. I don't know anything else about the boat other than what I put above, but I thought I'd spread the word on a Cig. |
MI Bullet
I called on the boat last night. It's an 1989 model with brand new engines & drives in 2001. It has SC 525's with Bravo 1's. Says the boat is in excellent condition and he is asking 65k. I get the feeling he would take less. Said it would run over 80 in the chop. It is on the web, but I can't post the link until I have 10 hits. Sounds like a sweet boat.

I had to do a search, but that sure looks like the boat. And the ad says it is located in Shelby Township which is right near where I saw it.
