#1 clylinder 96 PSI, #2 0 PSI DOH!
Not my motor but Dad's. Just got back from grand haven, going back into dunton park all of a sudden I hear popping and my Dad slows down. Didn't sound good. I pull up nexto him and he was trying to get it started, which after some grumpiness it did. Still popping, wouldn't idle, so he just shut it down. Got'er back to the barn and started pulling plugs. #1-white #2-black? #3-white #4-white etc. Get the compression tester, do the 1 side first. #1 was 96 (rut ro), #3 120 (thats better, 7.5-1 comp) the rest all good on that side. Go to #2 (the one that was black) DEAD, 0 psi. Ouch, boating season over. We'll probably start tearing down next week, I'll get picks.
