Lake Simcoe Poker Run...Ontario
 

Just to get a couple things straight, The accident was with 1 boat and 5 people on board. The boat was a 37 Talon (original Talon pleasure Deck) with twin Merc 900's. This is the power that has been in the boat for years. The Lake was very rough (10) 2 ladies on board and 3 men. Two men were sent to Sunneybrook and 1 man was sent to Orillia. At this time the men are still recovering. Thats all for now.

The owner of the boat Alex Cloke got hurt very bad and had surgury to reattch an arm he almost lost. Another of the men had serious head and neck injuries and I beleive a punctured lung. The boat was going about 90 mph in 4 to 6 seas when it first stuffed then became airborne and landed upside down. The other passaengers to the best of my knowledge were not seriously hurt.

I wondered if this would make OSO.........the few times I met Alex Cloke he was always a very nice guy.......doug
