Question How about a Team Marine question, this time

Ok,, I am considering purchasing a entire new dash from Team Marine. I am just curious what do I get. I understand that once I give them the measurements for the dash they will build an entire replacement with gauges, but here is the question ...

DO I HAVE TO INSTALL THE OLD WIRING ONTO THE BACK OF THE NEW GAUGES OR DO THEY PUT NEW WIRING ON THAT YOU SPLICE INTO THE OLD???

SOS,

I just had them build my panels and I put the gauges in. I then ran the grounds, lights and signal wires to each gauge on the panel. From there is it just a matter of connecting the various sender wires/hose, etc and making sure everthing is grounded properly.

I didn't think they actually installed the gauges, although, I do know that they install and wire the switches in their switch panels, so I suppose it's possible.

Thumbs up Thanks for the info

I was just curious about the how it was built. I bet though they could probaly build it anyway you want it. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Sink or Swim, They will do the panel complete with harnass back to the engine. Its all how you want them to do it. I'm a dealer for them and Bill and Kevin have done quite a few panels for me. They do excellent work.

ps: look at the fountain I have forsale in the boats forsale section and you will see there work. They made that panel , installed and wired guages , and harnass back to motors. I did the installation .

Do they have a website?

And also, do they have a pre assembled dash for the Donzi classic series? Those big old VDO's are starting to look a bit dated.

thanks guys

Matt
