Kitten,
I've mulled that over many times, I'm just afraid to make any kind of commitment like that in advance. With the weather and my schedule being such unknowns, I wouldn't want to let anyone down last minute. I'm sure it's the best seat in the house.

The race course is basically the southern half of the Offshore Grand Prix course. It runs from North Siesta Beach to Point of Rocks. The course is listed on the website: www.sarasotaoffshoreshowdown.com
From Marina Jacks to all of the "happenings" ten minute walk at most. 7 minutes to the Hyatt, three more to the dry pits (Van Weasle (snicker) parking lots where it's all set up.

Nick, I just took a ride down there to check it out for myself. Marina Jacks is a big, nice marina. I don't know about you, but for me that's a cab ride, especially carrying luggage in the August heat. It's about three quarters of a mile.

Default Cuda - Cab Ride

Yep...That's what I gathered from Mapquest.
I'll be cabbin' it. It's a nice leisurely walk, I'm sure.....but not with bags and stuff.

Thanks for checking it out. So, you got a slip there?
