I guess we still fall on the low end of the scale.

Milord 08-14-2003 01:51 PM

Hmm, I guess the $2.72 a gallon here today isn't that bad! :(

Milord 08-14-2003 01:52 PM

Oh ya, except when I fill up on the water tomorrow it will be $3.40 a gallon. :(

The Price in Kuwait has gone up when I first got there 98 Octane Leaded (they since Have changed to unleaded) and That was like $.60 a gallon then.

also Their cost to produce a Barrel of Oil was around $1.50 by a Production of 3,100,000 Bpd.

In the countries where it is real cheap do they sell the high octane fuels or just the low grade? I just don't seem them needing 93 Octane in Egypt?

Dont complain guy`s.

just checked the gas prices here in Norway.

5 us $ and 34 cent. for a us gallon of gas.
that why most powerboats up in europe is diesel powered.

The boat diesel is 2 us$ 81 cent for a us gallon.

So now you probably understand why most of the powerboat are diesel powered up north.

Norway.

By the way this summer I have put 89hours on my baby before I took her up. But of course I have a diesel engine in my boat.
If not I would have been really broke by now......

Kjetil

Why is that Norway is a petroleum producer right? Or just the heavy lubricating oils maybe.

cobra860 08-14-2003 10:27 PM

Yeah we are a oil produsing country, if an I not correctly wrong we among the 20 top oilproduser in the world...

But the goverment takes 4$in tax for every gallon we buy.

Thats why it is so expensive........

In Curacao, an island off the coast of venezuela. It runs about 4 bucks a gallon. "regular" is 92 octane...super is 95 octane. And the largest employer is a refinery! The refine a lot of oil from Venezuela. I think I did the math correct.. its $1.56 a litre, and the exchange rate is $1 US = $1.75 Guilders.
