Top ten Poker Runs
 

If you could attend any 10 -12 Poker Runs across the US which would they be and why. We are trying to put together a schedule for AT for some great runs and some great exposure.:)

I hope you are well. Long time no see. Here are some I would vote for. In no particular order:

1000 Islands
NYC
NJPPC Atlantic City Run

Did Savannah this year and it was a lot of fun. Plus the races are the same weekend so a manufacturer could get TONS of exposure from the crowds.

No particular order: Key West Poker Run, (FL Powerboat Club), OPBA's Long Labor Day Run, NJPPC's New York Run, FL Powerboat Club's Stuart to Naples (across Okeechobee Waterway) run, and any run that features thongs, thongs, and more thongs................

Key West, in the late fall, the weather is always good and it's the Keys. Oh ya alot of boats.

Cumberland, Cincinnati, 1000 Islands, Key West, Bahmas (FPC), Miami boat show, PRA Sarasota twice, SCOPE Long Beach... And I have heard the ones at Havasu are a blast as well.

Lake Murray SC, Their Poker Run is nowhere as big and crazy as the above, however I can assure it is as much fun if not more so. Lets see, grand prize??? entry fee less than what you will spend in gas during the first 30min and its hard to beet those pretty SC girls.

Lake Murray is a great one but I am a little biased since I live on it, so I thought I would say Savannah!!

I think I met you at the Lake Murray run the other year. I was on the TopGun with Howard and Betsy!! Docked beside you at the Marina.

You still on SML? We did that poker run this year, 53 degrees and raining...wish I had a helmet that day!!! SML has one of the best set ups I have been to for a poker run, they just need to buy some weather next year

I can't beleive no one has mentioned Smoke On The Water - weather sucked this year, but it is definitely a "Big Gun" run....

Hold on boys....you own a 35 foot V or a big cat and you can actually say you want to go on a lake/river poker run???? If you are a big boy, then play with the big boys on the big pond....that happens to be the Atlantic or the Pacific!!!

The total package is the Scope poker run...bigger boats, bigger payout, private docks for every boat, bigger meals, bigger check to charities, bigger water, better organized and for $300 gets you the entire package and a shot at over $30,000 in prizes!!!!! Completely non-profit!!!!!!

The SCOPE one sounds pretty sweet, but Cumberland is always a great show and great time.

I think that all the FLA ones would be killer.....!!

As far as bangin on the Big Lakes in Mich.....you need to go up and see it to beleive it. I'd rather run in 6' swells in the PA or AT than 3-5 washing machine chop on Erie or the Big Lake (Michigan)....:D :D

But hey, what do I know...we boat on the Ohio River...home of the worlds largest cruiser waves and hardest to see barges....HeheHe......

Thunder on the Bay is a great one every year. There are pics here on OSO. It probably would get you the most Northern Chesapeake exposure. And the CBPBA has 3-4 we are involved in each year, but they are smaller and more local entries. However, I could be enticed to run one of your boats in all of the Chesapeake runs next year which would give you great exposure:D
