Well I dropped it in the water the other day to swap trailers. Unfortunatly my photo shop is not on this computer so I do not think this is going to look all that good. :( At any rate I am VERY happy with the way it looks in the water especially. :D:D

Audiofn 08-15-2003 09:39 PM

Anyone want to resize this for me so that it will be of better quality?

Jon

Looks great Jon.:) Now quit being Too Old Jr and go out in it.

What size/type trailer did you get? I'm still trailer shopping. The best deal I've found for what I want is Quickload.

Audiofn 08-16-2003 07:04 AM

Cuda this trailer is a Magic Tilt. It is a old one that I have had for a while. Galvanized twin axel. It actually pulls like a dream. I am very happy with it but it is getting some SERIOUS overhauls this year. I had to put new fenders on it, new bunks this year. Over the winter I am going to go with new axels and rims. then it should be good to go for a while :D:D

That SURE looks like Cape Ann Marina.
I am originally from Gloucester.

cuda 08-16-2003 12:40 PM

Joh, have you ever weighed the boat? I'm thinking a tandem axle is a little light. I've got a triple now, and going to go with another triple.

Waterfoul 08-16-2003 01:01 PM

Dude, did you DRIVE it on and off the trailer or did you walk it down the dock that far just to take the picture?????

Audiofn 08-16-2003 05:04 PM

Cuda these are real heavy duty axles. You should see the bearings in there. I have done a lot of research and these axles are rated to well in excess of what I have on it. Will my next trailer be a tripple? Probably, but that will hopefully have a larger boat on it :D:D

Foul There is still no dash at all in the boat. So no wheel, no ignition, no guages, no NOTHING :(

thisistank 08-17-2003 05:30 PM

Jon,

I know haven't been around much lately, but did I miss something?? I thought you had that thing done and had been boating on it?? Am I crazy or did I miss something?

Mr Gadgets 08-17-2003 06:55 PM

Jon,
Looking good, keep up the good work and you will be boating and it will be worth every min you spent on it..

I thought the same thing a while back. Jon filled in the window on the bow and repainted the boat. He finished that last fall, put it in the water and ran it.

This year he dicided the windshield made it look dated. He took it off and is making a fiberglass windscreen. Since it seemed to easy...;) he decided to update the look and feel of the dash.

Maybe we need to give him a nickname, "Too Young", just a different version of "Too Old." I wonder if he is going to sell this boat when he is done??? :D
