Don't know about the 33', but the 18' model is a definite Donzi splash. Go mention it over at www.donzi.net and you'll get'em riled up but good!

I have owned three of these through the years and the 24 is an old cig design. The cig was the 24 before the firefox. It may have been one of the squadrons. Pantera is also from the same hull. Python just uses a windsheild were as everyone else who has made this design uses a fairing. I had one Python that had an Arneson drive on the back of it. Not much for out of the hole but could out turn anything at high speeds. Very fun boat. Jim at Python makes his boats strong and each is made to order. You come up with the graffics and how fast you want it to go and he will build it. For some reason my spell check is not working so if it seems like a five year old typed this then you know why.

magnum27,

Thanks for the clear up. I thought the 24/7 hull was originally a magnum. The one used by Pantera, Superboat, Excalibur and later Sunsation and a host of others.

The 24 Python is a cool looking boat.

Nope Python's are actually 23' 6''. Pantera used the magnum 27 1/2 for their 28 model but magnum never made a boat this size. They made a couple of 25 's but the one most copy is the 27

Did they ever build any of these 24. I've only ever seen the firefox?
