There are also 3 2003 Active thunder 37's in the classifieds. Isn't that just as "Strange?"

wow this thread went in the wrong direction....I simply asked a question about boats that for the most part are custom tailored to an owners taste, and they are sold off right away....I am seriously considering a 36 nor tech in the future so I was concerned with the fact that there may be an inherent problem or dislike to the boat. Just doing my homework befor I drop 300-400k for a boat. I guess a lot of you guys feel that is the wrong way to buy a boat?

Maybe the depreciation is depleated. (Taxes). After the depreciation on that equipment is depleated, you have to buy new equipment, and start the cycle over again.

T2x, that Nortech may have been a terror in Factory 2, but.........it had steps.

lucy...you have some 'splaining to do.....cuz I have know frigging idea what you talking about or what your point is.

slingshot...maybe it is not the responses that are off the mark, but the way you asked your question. Seems like a pretty stupid way to ask about a boat that you are thinking about purchasing. I think that 'Tides point was that there are plenty of Apaches that have been for sale for longer than it took to build the three Nortech's that are for sale on the board now.

Good boats, built well....original 38 vee was a terror in Factory 2 class...... New cats are beautifully styled and have sensible dimensions for rough and calm water. Great speed, value and handling. Manufacturer is responsive and very proactive...and the northeast dealer is aces in my book. About the only criticism I can think of is they are'nt quite Skaters...... but, really, who is?

I don't get the "controversy"...... Go pick on the junk out there......... There's certainly enough real targets to shoot at, that you don't have to pick on the wrong ones.

T2x
no controversy,no target, no nothing just considering buying one and want more info from guys(owners) who are in the know about the 36

If you stated much of this up front, there would have been less opportunity for people to get the wrong intent of this question. Some thought you were throwing darts.
