What was the final analysis of that spin you guys had?

we have a really good handle on what happened in Marathon and Savannah... but that's all behind us now....and are back using the potential of the Merc powered DONZI!

yeah...i know....tell me about it...it's going to be some time before we get to run the pleasure boat again!...sarasota this weekend and grang haven the next...then we'll have some free time to play!

it was like key west...an amazing amount of people!

I guess those of us in the GP running these boats; who want to know what happened so we can 'steer' clear of the same thing as well; might never know.

Joey, with all the controversy of handling on step bottom boats, please explain what you found. You could help save a life. In all honesty, I am not out to start fires here.

bottom line...it turns AMAZING...a stepped hull that IS set-up correctly is mind blowing how well it turns.

our misfortune does not translate in the pleasure/poker run boat arena. we have rules...poker run boats do not.

there was not anything "sophisticated" about what happened.

we are looking forward to a monster free season finish.

i'll tell over a drink at a race one day!....other than that i'm better off leaving it alone...but i would like to say that Mercury Racing, DONZI and my crew really, REALLY, worked very hard to make things happen for us in Milwaukee...If it was not for some exceptional people, we would have been watching Brian and Wilma Ross beat up the rest of the field in the other DONZI!

THANKS:D....they have worked very hard...and there is NO WAY "I" could have done it on my own...it really fells good to win as a TEAM...the 1 hour phil and i spend in the race is such a VERY small part of what has to go into it!

Joey, We will be towing down this weekend, looking forward to finally maybe meeting you! Is the AT still for sale?

Been watching from the background a while I hate to say Im still a looker rather than a buyer. Still havent gotten my other half to agree. She thinks I have all the toys I need. But.... I am lookin

then come check this thing out...women love it...we'll let her do the driving too...it's very easy to give instructions when you can communicate and instruct through a ICOM system..plus you still can control the trim.

I hope I get the chance to meet you someday, and swap stories. I know I am not experienced as you are in facets of racing, but I have made my share of laps around water and asphalt courses. If Too Old has the first round, I have the second.
