Does anybody have some 502efi fuel lines laying around.
I need two of them, the ones I need run from the mechanical fuel pump to the vst tank.

Nope, I changed out the IAC motor as soon as I got home, had to pull the throttle body off though. Need the fuel lines so I can run return lines to the tanks to eliminate the chance of vapor lock when its 95 and humid. Figured someone might have them laying around, if not I'll just order new ones.

Ron, what problems did you have?
My last trip out on the Missi (Early August), I ran into a vapor lock problem and wondered if there is something you are doing that maybe I should also do to correct it.

Yeah, I had an extra one at home so I put it in as soon as we got unpacked, I think the bad one just hung itself up somehow, once I took it out of the throttle body and turned the ignition on it started spinning again.
Once I replaced it with my spare iac it ran perfect.(would of been nice if I had it along)
The fuel lines are just for running a permanent return line on both motors because I've had vapor lock problems in the past on real hot days like we had this weekend.
The motor with the temporary return line never showed any symptoms of vapor lock but the one without a return acted up a couple of times.

Jeff, I've got VST tanks and I believe you have the Cool Fuel system. Merc replaced the Vst with the Cool Fuel because of the Vapor Locking problem. If you keep having a problem though contact Troutly, he had the problems w/ his 353 and Merc had a fix for it by adding an extra pump. I think its a kit you can buy.

Had a good time, the Mississippi is pretty cool, I don't think we will be able to get out there again this year. but looking forward to going next year and running further up into the ST Croix. We only got up to Red Wing, it was so hot that you had to get out of the boat and go swimming.
I think there were about 50 boats that showed for the Pokerrun.
