I had a 88 23 Warlock that I bought new. It has a 24 degree deadrise. Mine had a stock 7.4 330 horse merc.
It would hit 71 or 72. It was a very well built, light boat. I had to buy Tabs because the bow was so light. I could actually make the boat do wheelies, by goosing the throttle. It only had a 6'8" beam. This boat was comparible to a Donzi 22 Classic.
I had a ball with this boat, but you have to drive it. You can flip it easily. The fit and finish was very good. It had cloth seats that I thought was kind of weird but they held up very well and looked good. The boat is still running on our lake, and looks good.
