Thumbs up Finally Fired her!

It's been a long time since the boats been running, but this last weekend she was fired on the trailer, but fired.

I forgot my drive alignment tool, enough said about that!

Anyway If you are interested in hearing her download these two files by right click and save target as.

one is 10MB and the other is 11MB.

10 is from the rear of the boat and 11 is from the inside.

Krumb,
That thing looks and sounds great! Nice work. Cubes? Boost? Power? How's she run?

Default Devil in the details

Wow, this has been such a project I do not know where to start, or begin to say how many times I had to return parts or went down one direction and completely went another.

Here is where we really started, no kidding!@

Default Now for the juice!

BBC GENVI (1996 Silverado)
* Every machine option performed on block
Stroker Forged Crank
JE Forged Pistons and rods
Comp Pro Magnum Forged Steel Rockers
Edelbrock Performer's Aluminum Heads
TBS 250ci Blower
MSD Ignition / Pro Billet Distributor
Mellings High Volume Oil Pump
Isky custom cam
Pete Jackson Gear Drive (custom fit)
1050 Dominator / Blower referenced
Aeromotive HP1000 Fuel Pump
Aeromotive 3204 Blower referenced PSI
Magna Flow cam driven water pump
Paul Pfaff 3" Dual cooler / Thermostatically controlled
Billet Remote oil filter
Tons of Braided line -12,-10,-8

BBC 540 9:1 Compression running 5lbs of boost, blower should kick in around 3500RPM's (sleeper)

The blower is 100%CNC machined and is tight, very pleased have not yet heard her scream but that day is soon.

The cam is .612 for both IO

Running Comp Pro Rollers (Only MFG that makes em for the GENVI) will keep my fingers crossed.

The dominator was boost referenced by Blacke Carburetors in Kentucky (They know there stuff!)

It makes 750HP, but with one dominator that should be reduced to about 700HP.

Custom Mods:
* Starboard lower alternator bracket (IMCO port model, I reversed it)
* BBC Hot Rod Powersteering mount, I like the tight fit and short belts required.
* Magna Flow Cam Pump, I hate changing impellars plus it looks really cool. I custom made the fitting to connect the cooler to the inlet of the pump to extend pass the blower belt.
* IMCO powerlfow exhaust with SS Risers
* Stainless Marine Custom tips with a 45Degree Bend (life savers)
* MSD Teaque mount
* Paul Pfaff Billet Engine Eye Hooks.

I have not yet spashed her I am expecting speeds of 90MPH, with my previous motor (Blown 468 I hit speeds of 80mph)

I also built my own custom wiring panel that way I could clean up the wiring a bit.

Thanks for all your nice comments, if you have a specific ? or just want to know something I did not cover post it, I will answer it here on this post.I almost forgot about a year of my weekends too

We ran her for her initial break in on the trailer to just to get the assembly lube out and seat the rings. She performed well Oil pressure was fine, temp was good a few dribbles here and there, but all around smiles.

I plan on splashing her the weekend after Labor Day, that weekend is my office hours promoting speaker grills showing the warez out on the lakes and shores.

I have just finished two fountains that have a race theme and we will be pushing the covers and the beers that weekend. But after that is is back to getting this baby on the water.

I will keep posted pics and movies. By the way if anyone is interested my camera has a movie option and I just took the snapshot and the movie appeared.
