You know, if the Beverly Hillbillies struck oil today, they would not move to California.

I would have to have the tabs on my boat all the way down to do 35 and I don't even have Whipples (Yet).

Thats why everybody goes to Havasu, Mead, Powell ect... The local lakes are a joke for the most part. they cater to the fishermen.

Are you reffering to Lake Travis or Lake Austin. I know Lake Austin has a 35mph or so speed limit, and Travis has a night limit, but Ive raced by water patrol at over 70, and never had a problem on travis.

I may have been mislead but I was told that radar on the water was inaccurate due to the reflection of the RF off the water. The target is distorted to the beam.
