ran into this yesterday. The owner lives down the road from me and collects them. This is his newest and most prized.

He was totally cool we shot the **** for a bit. happy to talk cars and let me crawl all over the thing and look inside it. Hell i even helped them push it. (they were doing a poto shoot for mag) and it had to be repositioned by a few inches for a couple shots. Check out the december issue of "car" its a british sports car mag. It will most likely be the cover shot.

i have no idea what biz he's in. But he's very successful at whatever he does. He also has a 360 spider, a 550 barchetta (convertable maranello), the trick aston martin with the v12 i think its the vantage, an AMG cl55, 69 cobra, and a few others too.

GLH,
I just noticed your quote, it's from the movie "Snatch" right ? I just saw that last week and laughed my ass off. It was a pretty funny movie.

The F-40 and F-50 had it too.

puder 08-25-2003 01:22 PM

the 360 modena also has it.

SLINGSHOT 08-25-2003 01:23 PM

how did the herrings work

BLee 08-25-2003 01:24 PM

Yeah, thats just on the new ones right? My buddies 2000 Modena doesn't have it I don't think.

Katapult 08-25-2003 08:19 PM

gotta love the vanity plate

puder 08-25-2003 09:15 PM

i believe all modenas you can see the engine through the rear deck glass.

sling eth herings worked well. The 30 is fora large shaft and i runa small shaft. BUT i called herrign and they woudl swap it out for a small shaft.

the 29 lefty worked well. I gained 1mph over the mirage BUT at i can only turn it to 4300 rpms. Whereas the mirage i was spinning to 5500. Oeverall i was impresed witethm. And hering said they'll work with me to get to the right pitch.
