Wow...Those pics are incredible. Looks terribly violent.

Good comment. We floated near the beginning of the speed trap all day Saturday and Sunday. It seemed that every boat (except the larger boats) hit a small set of wakes on every run at the same area just before the trap.

The wreck happened between
my first and second runs.
From our vantage point, back at the
starting boat area, it was kind of weird,
you heard him take off, the engine flared
up a couple of times when he got up
course, then it got quiet.
The radio annouced the what had happened,
that kind of changed the mood.

I'am in agreement with Gary on the
roller thing, they were coming right down
the course, Sunday, things were much
better.

I think maybe they need to move the
start of the NO WAKE zone on the east
side of the course further east.

How about the water conditions
when everybody was leaving ?
I've never seen it that rough :eek:
