I have spent so much time designing a custom look for this customer that it lead me to putting in wire mesh screens. What do you guys think of the final product?

when you gonna be up and running, i'm still waiting for my billet covers for my ride!

I think that looks great. The mesh is the best part...Kind of gives it a more finished-off look, rather than having the speaker cones hanging out. How thick is the billet material you use? Curious, Can they get bent easily? Seems like there are some cantilevered sections of the checkered design unsupported in the center...

Can I get more info on your product?;)

You can stand on these they are about an 1/8" thick, they are very strong. If you bend these you are either going to have a sore body part or be bleeding and my guess is that the cover will come out better than you body.

We know there are some weak spots, but we have not had any fail or at least that we know of.

Thanks for your comments, how many do you need.

I heard you boat was going to be done in November another Magic Brother!

Call me when you decide on your target and we will design a custom cover especially for your new ride!

Also, you really should join OSO as a member!

Krumbsnatcher, can you design some with like a pirate flag type, with a skull and two cross swords. I am building a boat and they would match the theme perfectly. I don't need them now but this winter I will be ready.

CigDaze 08-26-2003 12:50 PM

Thanks for the reply Krumbsnatcher. Good info.
They sound very durable.

Got any for 6 X 9's? The original covering is pretty bent up.

They do look good!!!!!

Can you get stainless mesh or some sort powder coated mesh to go between the grill and speaker ?

OffshoreOnly 08-26-2003 04:14 PM

You can find a link to his website in the OSO Advertisers/Links section in the Communications/Electronics section.

The boat above looks great.

this gives a better look at the 10's

I think the addition of the mesh mades this product much more practical and offers better protection for the speaker cone. Two thumbs up! Steve

I also agree it gives them the finished look, however, some customers who run the Sony's or any speaker cone that has color like the transparent look.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, I will post more pics of the yardhouse boat after this weekend.
