Attn: Ft Myers Boaters-Raffle run
Two of our local boaters, Craig and Dan, have organized a new local club called "Save the Boater Club" which is a Boater's Rights Activists and Social Club. They have organized a Raffle Run for this saturday August 30th. Registration begins at Salty Sam's on Ft Myers Beach at 9:30 and boats will leave at 11:00. The run will go to restaurants on the Caloosahatchee River.
This will be the LAST time you can run the river at speeds over 25 mph because MANATEE SPEED ZONES go into effect Sept 1.
Registration for the run is $50 per boat (includes captain and passengers). Half of the entry money received will be raffled off at the end of the day plus other raffles for dinners, motel stays etc.
This run is open to any type of boat-performance-fishing-flats boats-cruisers. Anyone who wants to run over 25 mph for the last time.
For more information:
Craig 239-872-3313
Dan 239-910-2782
Hope to see you all there.

In the Caloosahatchee river from the Edison Bridge to the Sanibel Causeway. 25 mph in the channel, idle zone outside the channel except for 2 long sections at Redfish pass and Little Shell where it is idle everywhere.
