Apache sighting at ALUM Creek
Wicked Won,,, We would not miss it for the world,, Where else can u go on a Sat. when the event does not start untill Sun.---wait for the Sun. to come out untill noon. I just bought the boat back in April of this year for pleasure/poker run use. It needs a lot of work to bring it back to new condition, but it is getting there. It is a 45' Apache, twin 1000's, #6 drives and 8 person bolsters in the cockpit. It was originally the race boat Kid Apache, but has had several names since then. When it raced it had triple 850's in it. Now the third engine is gone, the bulkhead has been moved back and there are a pair of bolsters in it where the third engine was. The only running time I have in it was accumulated during the test run before I bought it. It has been in "rehab" since then. It is coming along slowly, but surely. Here are a few pictures...
