I am going to learn how much speeding costs
Mom woke me up late for school, so Im wide open on the way to school this morning, speed limit was 55, got the ticket for 90 (nice cop) no wreckless op or wreckless endangerment (very nice cop). I now hold the record for highest traffic ticket this year at school, will have to pay 220$ in fines, plus court costs, loose my license for 3 weeks or more, pay for a safe driver class. I had an excused late to school though, and my truck is faster than i thought, and I didnt die, nor did anyone else, so there is some good things.

just think of it this way how long did you have to sit while you were pulled over. you would have probably gotten there faster runnin 55-60 and not having to stop and wait for the cop to write you the ticket

Try 6 months, nice going! And it is not your moms fault you are old enough to get yourself up!
And if you think I'm a dick after reading this wait to the judge gets done with you!

Now, that's an expensive lesson.
Increased speed is good for aircraft, boats and long interstate trips by road. Going from 55 to 90 during a morning commute, really won't amount to more than a minute or two, after factoring in stops, lights, etc. It's not worth it!! You are increasing your reaction distance and braking distance by more than 3 times going from 55 to 90. Not very advisable.
Be safe out there.

Speeding tickets are no laughing matter. They will come back to haunt you for years. You'd be suprised to find out how many institutions judge you by your driving record. Slow the f#@k down!
