....a MODEL plane that is. Unf*ucking believable. Model airplane, weighing less than 5 kg flies over 1,800 miles...

Maynard has been working towards this goal for probably 30 years. He has severl prior records for transcontinental flights too. The local (MD) RC club is working to get him to speak at their next meeting. He and his son Scott attended the student aircraft competition I support several times.

A record very well deserved.
