thisistank 09-01-2003 08:02 PM

I take it, it was for sale after the accident? I guess it wasn't that damaged huh? I wonder what ever happened to the owner/passangers in the accident. And the boat for that matter.

OffshoreOnly 09-01-2003 08:26 PM

call Larry Goldman

SS930 09-01-2003 08:29 PM

That's one sick ride! Bet that thing moved... sounds like maybe to well.

Velocity Tom 09-01-2003 08:37 PM

Who is Larry Goldman?

macvtt 09-02-2003 04:34 PM

Larry Goldman does or did all the rigging for Motion.
I would like to know how and why it rolled.

lanpln 09-02-2003 05:00 PM

Randy Sweers owns Fastboats. I think Larry's shop is called Extreme Marine. Look up Motion in classifieds I think he has a boat for sale.

Madcow 09-02-2003 07:12 PM

I think the EPA deemed the paint job unsafe and burned it!:D

yea... who would have green on their boat:eek:

If I recall correct ( and that isn't often) it was a couple brothers that were killed on it:confused:

packinair 09-02-2003 07:45 PM

here

I stand corrected.. it was a 36 skater that killed the brothers..

OffshoreOnly 09-02-2003 08:10 PM

Yes, Larry Goldman is Extreme Marine in North Miami. He races the fasboats.com boat with Randy Swears.

vtec 09-02-2003 08:19 PM

Outboard=High center of gravity

4 outboards=really high center of gravity, prone to rolling over

vtec

eMotiondriver 09-02-2003 10:13 PM

It's not High center of gravity it's a ton of weight on the ass and nothing up front. 300 Promax weight @ 376 ea. plus rigging.

I don't believe that boat had any ballast tanks I my be wrong and I'm sure Ryan will say so:eek:

eMotiondriver 09-02-2003 10:27 PM

Larry Goldman riggs some of the nicest Motion's I've seen. I've been in his shop and saw one of the first 40's for pleasure what a sweet boat, that was 2 yrs ago wonder who has it now?????

The horrible thing is they killed themselves, if I remember they just got the boat? or a few rides before.
