Yeah, the nice thing is that most of the fools (;)) we hang with are pretty knowledgable about the surrounding boats. We all just dig the hot chit. :D

Several people have asked what the 29 on the seats and hatch mean:

Is that your favorite stock car driver?

Showing a pic of the wife and I on the boat to our receptionist today, she asked: "Do you have a boat?"

This isnt really a boat one....Kids at school talking about "VTEC" 2 years ago....Me being the V8 toothless redneck that I am, "I think you forgot the letters O and R" (vORtec) haha.

People stare at the back of the transom and ask "How does it go?"

I tell them it uses a magnetic flux capacitor system. "You know, like on the sub in Hunt for Red October." That sends them away with a confused look on their face! :D

Frequency; That is priceless! But seriously, "how fast does it really go"??! --- Jer

Strip Poker 388 10-20-2003 07:38 PM

Had one ask how fast
i said 84mph
he said THATS ALL ?
I said thats just fist gear:D

Frequency 10-20-2003 07:41 PM

jpclear - about 75 on the trailer ;)

lotoparty - Just pulled the boat back from St. Charles. I had Riverside Custom Upholstery do the covers and bimini. Fred is a meticulous craftsman. I would recommend him to anyone. One motor is finished running - 545 Hp@4900 rpm. The other one goes on the dyno in a few days. Then it's time to ruin a perfectly good transom. It's been setting since mid-June. I'm kinda growing fond of the clean look.:D

The welldigger must stay out of trouble so I can bring him again next year!
