trimmed to the max
got some new Mirages awhile ago and finally got a day with a nice chop where I didnt have 6 people in the boat and full fuel......pinned the throttles and left them there and to my amazement I could trim the boat out as far as it would go, max trim(7 on the indicators) the props were hooked up, no chinewalk, felt real good actually and the boat was actually going faster than it ever has (by a mph or two)......usually for max speed I would trim out till the props break away then come back a bit.....do I just keep going into the tilt range till they break away or change props or is there some sort of a rule if this happens.............29 Fountain non step two smallblocks...........doug

Sounds like you could raise your drives a bit.
Trimming to the moon is not the way to go. If you hit a wake, you'll get out of shape. Your going faster becuase there is less outdrive in the water when you trim up.
Imco shorties?
