JROMY 09-05-2003 11:39 PM

I guess I should have gone to college to become a research chemist! What a jackass - not necessarily for driving that fast - just being the only jackass to pass cops at 185 mph and end up getting stopped because you were DRUNK????? You would think a taxi (or limo) might be within your budget.

apache21 09-05-2003 11:57 PM

Damn Can you imagine 185 while you are drunk? Thats insane.

Caincando1 09-06-2003 12:07 AM

Not many cars that can do that.

Need-the-Speed 09-06-2003 12:35 AM

The drunk Ba$tard probably didn't even realize he was going that fast. "Bloodshot" eye's? I wonder what he breathalizer read?

GLH 09-06-2003 05:12 AM

The fastest I was ever clocked was 167 but I was stone cold sober. The short story; Youth and Stupidity, forget about the long story.

East Coast B 09-06-2003 05:37 AM

This happened just up the road from me.... Couldn't believe the speed on that road... it's just a little 2 lane country road..... ASS!!!

RollWithIt 09-06-2003 06:05 AM

What a waste of a car on a shmuck like that.

R Addiction 09-06-2003 06:18 AM

182.....Is that all you got!!!!!!?:p :D

Can you say ....Idiot!!

open87 09-06-2003 08:05 AM

the fastest i have been is about 148 totally straight , i can't even begin to imagine 182 and drunk

CigDaze 09-06-2003 11:03 AM

What a moron. That's 267 feet per second...doesn't give you much of a chance to react to anything. One twitch of the wheel, and things would have been really ugly.

BLee 09-06-2003 11:20 AM

I've seen 175 in my car with a little left on the pedal. I was stupid obviously to do it but the car was solid the whole way. But, a blown tire would have expired my time here. He's lucky the cop didn't beat his ass, right Troutly??? ;)

Trout whats the fastest you've ever clocked anyone? Did you catch them?

Strip Poker 388 09-06-2003 11:23 AM

I thought mine was bad, it is, but this is worse.

CAP071 09-06-2003 02:05 PM

WoW Thank GOD no one was killed by this fool.

wannabe 09-06-2003 03:37 PM

Lamborgini

First off, I wish I had a car that did 182.

Second, I would never drive that drunk.

Third: how long would it take to catch the guy in a Police Crown Vic?

Answer: you can't except traffic slowed him down and THANKGOD he did not injure anyone.

We loose very, very few to driving. We do call them off every now and then.

I'm not tryin to wear you out. But, what do you mean by, "we do call them off now and then?" Just wonderin from smokie himself. I would stop 4 you, probably. ;) :D

BLee 09-07-2003 08:22 AM

I see. I bet that pisses you off though, after chasing the fool all over the place.

formula31 09-07-2003 10:18 AM

He should be able to beat the DUI. Obviously , his driving wasnt impared if he was able to handle that speed.

HyperBaja 09-07-2003 11:05 AM

Troutly, have you ever had a bike run from you? I remember one night we were out at a parking lot just hanging out (Supras, 300zx's, Rx-7's, Vettes, Saleen Stangs, etc) and 2 cops came to see whats going on, then some bikes flew by, they started placing bets with people on how fast the next one would be!!

Once in Scottsdale, AZ I was stopped at a red light on a four lane road (Shea Blvd.) in a Ferrari at midnight. Out of nowhere a bike came screaming behind us and timed the green light perfectly. The guy was an absolute rocket and blurred past us. I stomped on the gas and tried to catch up to him. The car launched to 100mph+ in ~10 seconds flat. The guy on the bike just kept accelerating...we think he was running 140-150mph!!! We never came close to him. Totally insane!!!

Coddigtion 09-11-2003 12:40 AM

Ummmmmm.... I was dumb for a while, while I had this car, http://www.lingenfelter.com/pac725ttls1y.asp it was fast and I would say that 230+ was a conservative estimate. (I was a little stupid while I had it and it saw greater than 200MPH more than once while I owned it on a public hiway)

baja_daddy 09-11-2003 02:19 AM

What is it with everyone in Houston having Lingenfelter modded vehicles?? These cars seem to be everywhere when I'm down there!!

I have had since '94 from LPE: Trans-Am, 3 vettes, and one Viper.

I know of about 5 LPE F-bodys and 2 TT vettes but I know there is a few more than that...I know Mr Smith is always flying down 105 from Pappas in one of his cars and was caught doing 160+ in the Vette...Luckily it was'nt DPS or his ass would have been in jail.

Off the topic what ever happened to John after his accident??
