I've used "Adsgone" with good success for removing popups.

Oh yeah, I think I'd be finding a new roomate.

Pick up Norton's Uninstall Deluxe. It's the best damn uninstaller I've seen. When you just "Delete" or use the software "Unistaller" it'll leave pieces of the program attached to various other programs that it associated with. The Norton program goes out and eliminates those pieces, or as I call them "roots".
The Norton program also does several other disc maintenence chores.

I assume you all know about the lawsuits and subpoenas issued to several heavy Kaaza users.
Was reading in Time Magazine where the recording industry has been accessing Kaaza users computers and looking at how much you've downloaded. Those that are considered "heavy" users are issued subpoenas by mail to appear in court.
Remember, Kaaza is a shared system. Any music you download and store on your dive is accessable to any other Kaaza user. That's how the files are distributed to the various members. That's also how the industry lawyers are accessing peoples computers and backtracing the IP addresses to obtain the home address. When you downloaded the Kaaza files you also agreed to allow other members access to those music files stored on your drive.
My advice to you is dump the Kaaza program.
If you don't do that at least transfer all your music files to CD-R discs and keep nothing on your drive.
