Check out the Hyatt Pier 66, I have stayed there a few times, and it is very nice. plus, you can take a water taxi over to the bahia mar. I have also stayed at the embassy suites, if you don't need to be on the water, it is very nice.
God, I'm getting jealous, Ft. Lauderdale is a blast!

Go with JM 94, It is real close, and there rooms ROCK!
Much better and bigger than you get on the beach.
It is less than a mile away from beach. Not to mention killer breakfest buffet and free happy hour!!
There rooms make the rest look like a joke. JM 94 will dial you in!
