FYI -- The size of the pitot inlet really has nothing whatsoever to do with the #'s/sq. in. of water pressure that the speedo gage measures. Then the dial on your gage is calibrated in MPH rather than #'s. --- Jer

Assuming these factors here are the speeds it's capable of;
At 5000 RPM
1.36 gear and 25 pitch prop
at 7% prop slip = 80 mph
at 12 % prop slip = 76 mph
1.5 gear and a 25 pitch prop
at 7% prop slip = 73 mph
at 12% prop slip = 69 mph
At 5500 RPM
1.36 gear and 25 pitch prop
at 7% prop slip = 89 mph
at 12% prop slip = 84 mph
1.5 gear and 25 pitch prop
at 7 % prop slip = 80 mph
at 12% prop slip = 76 mph
At 6000 RPM
1.36 gear and 25 pitch prop
at 7% prop slip = 97 mph
at 12% prop slip = 91 mph
1.5 gear and 25 pitch prop
at 7% prop slip = 88 mph
at 12% prop slip = 83 mph
It's possible but not probable. Need more HP IMHO

jp's kind of on the right track - Speedo pitot diameter has no effect on the line pressure to the speedo head.
Big hole, little hole - the only reason the pitot hole isn't larger is that it would slow the boat down.
That is why you can use any brand of pitot and get the same result. I've seen hole diams from 1/16" to 3/16".
You gotta remember that the water in the line isn't moving at a steady speed. It is not a flow consideration, just a route for sampling of water pressure at speed.
With that said, NO, I don't believe this boat will go 100. Or 90. Or 80.
