I've been performance boating in Ohio all of my life with some very fast boats and have never been stopped.

I have had the same experience as Wicked Won. The guy was nice and just wanted to safety check me NOT harass me. We forgot our throw-able he let us walk up to the store at the ramp so he could give us a inspection sticker (no it's not on the boat).
The exhaust is always quiet and the silent switch does not work as far as they are concerned

I've been followed for a while but never stopped onn the water. The only times I've been bothered is at the ramp and since I don't need public ramps anymore I've never had a problem.
