Warranties on hulls?

Who has the best warranty program? BH

BRUCE SEROFF 09-12-2003 10:37 AM

I would have to say Pantera...Lifetime to original owner

ScottB 09-12-2003 10:40 AM

Another vote for Pantera
Lifetime warranty on hull and deck to original owner even if you race it

Sydwayz 09-12-2003 10:44 AM

I believe Active Thunder matches that.

"The 2004 Active Thunder hull and deck warranty is simple: You purchase our boat and we will stand behind it for as long as you own it, period. That means you do whatever you want, just have fun and be safe, and don't worry...it's a LIFETIME WARRANTY."

Sonic and Donzi go 5 years.

The only pleasure boat that offers lifetime is Regal. Any hi-perf that does would be outstanding. But none will cover gel coat, structural only.

What is Outer Limits / Skater's programs? BH

Sydwayz 09-12-2003 11:06 AM

Outerlimits is "Limited lifetime hull warranty to original owner." Doesn't say what they mean by limited, though.

Sydwayz 09-12-2003 11:15 AM

Would Pantera cover transom degredation?

THEJOKER 09-12-2003 11:18 AM

Cigarette is (1) year. I always had a hard time trying to sell a $ 300,000 boat and tell the customer this. BH
