I have a friend whoes father is selling his 1985 Corvette,, it has less than 10,000 miles,,, everything original.

He is asking around $12K to $14 is it worth it?

It might be.

You would have to really like that car to pay 13K for it. Others are a lot less expesive, but no where near that mileage and this one is probably in perfect shape.

1985 was not a stellar year for the Corvette; however it was LOADS better than 1984. That car however sounds stellar in its own right. Like said above, you would really have to dedicate yourself to keeping that car EXACTLY the way it is, to keep it as stellar as such; keep your interest in it, and keep the value up there where the other ones are listed on Hemmings.

My father had a 1985, as well as a 1963, both in their new eras. He now has a pristine 2000, a very rare late built one with the 2001 rims.

I had an 84 vette although they had there problems mine was a nice car, and with the low miles it might be worth it . once the car get over 80,000 miles
is when the price of car really drops out. Also how was it stored all these years ? Jo
My favorite "C5"

It all depends on the buyer. You may get the price or close to it.

We bought an 85 with 13K about 4 yrs. ago for 13K.

Anyone want a Vette CHEAP ?????

Personally ... I wouldn't buy it - unless the car has some sentimental value. That package is far from reliable, and it is certainly was no rocket ship in that year. For $5000 it would be something to consider to rip around in, but certainly no collectable (even for $13000).
