Default Rock the Bay Poker Run Sept 19-20

Folks time is drawing near. A raukus event is shaping up and a wild time is planned. Here's what I'm hearing, so who's going?...

Cap'n Drew and his NYC Film Crew will be taping the entire event.
Helicopter rented by the event organizers and photo prices will be a bargain compared to that other boat pics place.
Lots of serious hardware will be on hand.
Lots of Door prizes being contributed by Sunsation, Skater, Hustler and Freeze Frame Video
$11,500 in prize money
$500 Poker Run Ladies Bikini Contest
Sanctioned and Insured through American Poker Runs Association.
Great food friday night at the welcoming party, sat morning buffet breakfast, HUGE Maryland Steamed Crab Feast on Saturday afternoon and fantastic dinner planned for Saturday night with slide slow of photos taken that day at party.

Filling quickly - spots still remaining but only 60 boats permitted - register now.

The way things are shaping up Isabel may throw the event a serious curve ball!

We'll see. Gotta keep the cup half full and hope Florida plays punching bag once again. BTW, after you left last night, I handed Mr. slick an arse whupping for three straight games (pool) before I had to walk....

I spoke to the organizers this afternoon and they've established an alternate date of Saturday Sepmtember 27th if the weather is bad next weekend. I was told their website http://www.rock-the-bay.com would be updated on wednesday evening with an announcement on the potential change of date.

This works out better for me anyway since I'll be at the Metro Beach Boat Show next weekend and the change of date will permit to attend Rock The Bay the following weekend.

Anyone attending Rock The Bay should put the Cambridge races on your schedule for Sunday. After the run you could run or trailer to Cambridge in a little under 2 hours, and it looks to be quite a show on the 28th.
