Does anyone actually read these threads?
This may be settled with all of you but as far as I can tell a delivery date was not promised to Chuck's friend.
I also did not post what Joe claimed I did about the full payment. Go back and read it.

I think it's funny how so many people have posted here, who do not have a first hand buying experience with Pantera. If it's not your money in the poker game then I don't think your allowed to bet.

I also think if you are going to vouch for someone then you better be willing to put up the cash in their place if they default. I know the banks like it that way too.

I think the best way to detemine a end to this thread is to let Pantera build the boat and get this thing done. Believe me Pantera (Joe) knows whats at risk here .

Thank you Too Old

What has been learned from this thread?
Don't ever pay for a boat in full up front! If you order a custom boat it is Par for the boat to be months behind schedule, I'm not saying it's right, but that's usually the way it is. Jo always answers questions and is always available to get in touch with. How many other Boat builders are on here to answer questions and offer a lifetime warranty on a RACE boat. Pantera is by no means perfect but they do try very hard in a Business that is most difficult to keep dead lines. I have learned that boat building is a very difficult business, there are so many variables that it is tough to keep dead-lines. Bottom line, when you get your boat you most likely will be happy.
I have gone through this more than once and I know it sucks not to have your boat. I have had it out with Pepe Linda and Jo on more than one occasion and in the end you will be HAPPY. They are good people with good intentions! That's hard to find in todays world.

This post should be left alone. This particular Internet application seems to be pro-consumer. A resolution may be in sight that won’t require legal eagle warriors- imagine that!

I would like to see the Pantera folks answer this post. It would not be a good business move to ignore an issue that is now in front of so many.

My advice to Pantera would be, if you are wrong, admit it and show us that you are concerned.

If you have had a stroke of bad luck, this group seems reasonable and will understand.

My first ride in and offshore powerboat was in a Pantera- it was fantastic, I will never forget it.
